Welcome to the Monkey Room (2 to 9 months) and Busy bees Room (10 to 16 months)
In the Monkey class and busy bees class we follow a ratio of 2 staff member to every 7 babies.
Our classroom’s all of which have their own crib or cot assigned just to them.
One of our primary goals for the infants is to form a strong attachment between the baby and the primary caregiver. Each infant has a primary caregiver that devotes special attention to each child, including individual sleep and eating patterns for each child.
Our monkey’s curriculum focuses on developmentally appropriate practices utilizing each child’s strengths, needs, and areas of interest. The infant classroom is designed to promote the cognitive, communicative, sensory and motor development of each child. Our art activities such as finger-painting and scribbling teach the infants to control small hand muscles and coordinate eye and hand movement. We encourage language and communication development throughout all activities where we teach the babies basic sign-language and pair the signs and gestures with the words. Our infants also enjoy the playground and go around our neighborhood. If the weather permits we do take buggy rides daily and enjoy the great outdoors.
We hope to see you soon so you can share in all the fun and exploration we do every day.
